DESIGN AND RATIONALISATION OF A NEW BIOLOGICAL TISSUE SIMULANT FOR RADIOFREQUENCY DOSIMETRY

Kristell LOUIS-QUELEVER (PhD, Quality Manager)

This article presents the design of a new material for simulating the dielectric properties of biological tissues (of the head or the human body), over a wide frequency band extending from 600 MHz to 6 GHz. The applications are in the field of radiofrequency dosimetry, and more specifically the testing of mobile phones for compliance with SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) values.
