The 2017 new SAR standard confirms ART-MAN as the market’s finest solution

The 2017 new SAR standard confirms ART-MAN as the market’s finest solution

THE NEW PAS CONFIRMS ART-MAN AS THE BEST SAR SOLUTION ON THE MARKET.
Since the positive vote on 19 May for the IEC PAS 63151, the SAR test industry is officially allowed to use vector array systems for Radio Frequency (RF) exposure measurement and reference precise evaluation standards for compliance. It’s a major step forward for ART-MAN - a fully automated and intelligent RF Vector System - which already provides the most accurate and absolute measurement available to the SAR testing market. The new industry standard[1] offers clear and harmonized methods to assist test labs, technical reviewers and regulators.

Fully compliant with the new IEC PAS 63151 standard, the ART-MAN’s performances were presented at the IEC TC 106 meetings in Melbourne, Australia (16 – 20 Oct) and at the TCB Council Workshop in Baltimore, Maryland (30 Oct – 02 Nov)[2].

On 28 Nov, ART-Fi was invited to the iWCC, led by China Telecommunication Technology Labs (CTTL) and American Certification Body (ACB). During the presentation, ART-FI demonstrated the robustness of the IEC 62209-3 and IEC PAS 63151 validation and measurement uncertainty procedures using ART-MAN Platinum generation SAR systems. The presentation explains also the fundamental scientific principles behind the state-of-the-art vector measurement systems.

WHY CHOOSE ART-MAN FOR SAR TESTING IN 2018?
ART-Fi is the only SAR equipment manufacturer that meets the requirements of the IEC PAS 63151 standard[3]ART-MAN makes the SAR testing process faster, provides the most reliable results on the market, allows test repetitions and significantly reduces the development costs for wireless device manufacturers, antenna developers, regulators and test labs.

ART-FI ANNOUNCED AT CES LAS VEGAS 2018 (9-12 JAN 2018).
ART-Fi will participate for the first time at the CES in Las Vegas, Nevada demonstrating how it leverages its unique R&D expertise in RF and Electromagnetics (EM) to collaborate on the development and advancement of equipment automation and numerical simulation concepts.

At CES, ART-Fi will present PLATINUM, its new generation of test solution equipment that deals with convergence in technologies and performance optimization meeting the state-of-the-art standards and requirements. This is due to its unique ability to measure absolute vector quantities (amplitude and phase) in RF.

ART-Fi will also attend the CES to set up strategic partnerships with the automotive industry to support the autonomous vehicle disruptive market commitments.
